Record Rack
Sketch exploration allowed me to examine different ways to display records within a frame-like device, assemble my design, and hang my design both vertically and horizontally for customization.
Brief: design an item for a living room that can be flat-packed and assembled by the user
There was a clear gap in the market for these vinyl buyers. Available record display options lack the ability to store multiple records, and record storage options do not display album artwork. Products that both store and display records are few and far between and often quite expensive.
My design allows users to store and display their vinyl collection in a customizable way.
